Old Photographs Wanted

A recent issue of the Porthole fell into the hands of an ex-Leither, John Rippington, who is now living in Jarrow, Tyne and Wear and he was good enough to send to the Editor some interesting photographs of Leith which had been taken by his father over seventy years ago with an Ensign folding camera which he had bought from Coltart's in Leith Walk.

Leith Academy Primary Class 11B in 1922,
the Leith Horse Car,
Leith Tramway Staff around 1920,
the Vistula, moored where the Edinburgh Cruise Ship now lies and several taken into the docks from the Signal Tower where John's family then lived.
