BELL'S BLAIR ATHOL  DISTILLERY

At the very heart of Scotland lies the beautiful town Pitlochry the home of Bell's Blair Athol Distillery, famed from time immemorial for the quality of its light Highland malt whisky, an essential element in Bell's Scotch Whisky. Founded in 1 798, Blair Athol is one of Scotland's oldest distillries. Even before then, malt whisky was probably being made where the distillery is located, because the site possesses that most valuable commodity to the whisky distiller - crystal clear water from the AIIt Dour, the burn of the otter.

Visitors are made very welcome and, all year round. our guides run conducted tours of the distillery. They will introduce you to the secrets of malt whisky distilling and blending, aided by an enteraining 10 minute video programme and exhibition about Blair Athol and Bell's.

A range of whiskies as well as a selection of quality gifts and souvenirs is available from our distillery shop. And to satisfy more immediate appetites, our coffee shop and bar provides light refreshments, home baking and the chance to taste more of Scotland's heritage .
