Start My Own Business and Be The Boss !



Deciding to start my own business was not something that I came to lightly. I did not even know how to start my own business, I just knew that I needed to. I really wanted to be my own boss, to start my own business. Everyone wants to be his or her own boss, but with me it was different. I do very poorly with authority. I have always had outstanding job performance, but I have lost several jobs because of conflicts of personality. I know that I have a strong personality, and that I am very self-willed. In a business environment where you have to work with other people, this can be an obstacle. But if you start your own business, this can actually help you out.

Starting my own business, however, was not easy. You see, I am a doer but I lack vision. When I decided to start my own business, I could not think of a particular niche market that I would be good at. I looked at all kinds of Internet ads for how to start your own business, but nothing seemed to appeal to me. I didn't want to start my own Internet business, start a carpet cleaning business, or any of that nonsense. I wanted something unique, something bold, and something fun.

Nonetheless, I could not find anything like that so I decided to start a franchise business. Starting my own franchise business was actually a pretty easy way to go about it. You have to work long hours, of course, but that has always been easy for me. I love working. I actually love it more than anything else in the world. My wife says it is a little bit of an obsession, but we don't talk very much anymore, so it doesn't bother me. I see it as a sign of a good, strong personality. I am the type of person who, when I decide to start my own business, am not going to let anything get in my way.

Sure enough, my efforts to start my own business seem to be paying off. Don't get me wrong –  I am not a multimillionaire yet, but I am not broke like I was before I decided to start my own business. I am doing reasonably well, and each year seems to be better. Sooner or later, I will probably be able to open another franchise nearby! From there, who knows?
