From the very first zit that pops up on our delicate mug, we know it's on. The cycle of puberty and hormones has begun. The only dread is what will come next. Will it be another fat pimple on the end of your nose, or possibly an entire slew of whiteheads across your cheeks and forehead? Eww, it's too unbearable to ponder. You must find a remedy, treatment, solution, cream, potion or something to get rid of acne once and for all. You can't let it destroy your confidence and social life. Stand up to the almighty zit, look it in the eye and crush it into oblivion. Okay, enough with the comic book narrative. What you need is a real cure for acne. Rubbing alcohol! This is what my father told me to wipe on my pimples when I started to break-out in 1989. I was 13 at the time. This was the beginning of the "zit phase" for me. Obviously if you rub a cotton ball soaked in alcohol on your face twice a day, you're going to be left with a chapped complexion.

Fortunately down the road I picked up some better acne treatment products from the local drugstore. I went with the Neutrogena face wash and toner. These worked well together. On the other hand, they're nothing compared to what's available now days. Kids of today, consider yourselves lucky. You can get rid of acne with the right treatment.
